The Pixel 11 Pro is the compact half of Google’s Pro pair, and it has the same chip, display type and camera system as the bigger Pixel 11 Pro XL. This page collects Google’s documented facts for it, explains what they mean for the cable and charger you buy, and compares it with its siblings. Every figure is traced to a source listed at the bottom of the page.

The wired charging row is blank on purpose: Google publishes a fast-charging claim tied to a charger, not a maximum wattage for the phone, and we do not guess one. The iFixit score row is blank because iFixit showed none when we checked.

Where does the Pixel 11 Pro fit?

Google’s launch announcement introduced the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL together, with starting prices of $899, $1099 and $1299, and said all three would be on shelves at the Google Store and retail partners on August 20. A later post confirms the phones were on shelves. Colors are Canyon, Olive, Fog and an all-matte Obsidian. Storage is 256GB with 12GB of RAM, or 512GB or 1TB with 16GB.

Google’s phones do not appear in the sales rankings we cite, so the Pixel 11 Pro ranks twenty-seventh in our library as part of Google’s current lineup, which Google lists on its Store page. See the Google hub for the family, including the Pixel 11.

What cable does the Pixel 11 Pro use?

The phone has a USB Type-C port, which Google lists as USB Type-C 3.2. The USB-IF defines the USB 3.2 tiers at 5, 10 and 20 Gb/s (see our USB speed guide), but Google does not say which of those the port runs at, so we do not either. The box cable is a 1 m USB-C to USB-C cable that Google lists as USB 2.0, 2nd gen. The USB-IF says USB products run at the lowest common speed, so that cable is a charging and basic-data cable rather than a way to reach the top speed of a USB 3.2 port. For faster data, buy a cable made for it; see cable buying safety and our USB-C explainer.

What charger does the Pixel 11 Pro need?

Wired. Google says fast charging takes the Pixel 11 Pro to up to 55% in about 30 minutes using a 30W USB-C PPS charger or higher, sold separately. PPS stands for Programmable Power Supply, a feature of the USB Power Delivery 3.0 specification; see PPS and USB Power Delivery. Google’s stated requirement is a PPS charger rated 30W or higher. Because the box has no adapter, you must supply one; the wattage guide lists other published figures.

Wireless. Google lists Pixelsnap wireless charging that is Qi2.2-certified, at up to 25W. The Wireless Power Consortium describes Qi2 25W as the version launched in July 2025 that delivers nearly 70% more power than Qi2 and says only Qi Certified products may show the Qi or Qi2 logo. Google’s launch post says Qi 2.2 25W compatibility is new to the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro. See Qi2 explained and the wireless charger guide. For a checklist, read which charger is safe for my phone.

The screen, explained

The Pixel 11 Pro has a 6.3-inch Super Actua display. Google lists it as 1280 x 2856 LTPO OLED at 495 PPI with a 20:9 aspect ratio and Smooth Display from 1 to 120 Hz, up to 2400 nits for HDR and up to 3600 nits at peak, and a contrast ratio above 2,000,000:1. The cover glass is Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with an anti-scratch shield, and Google’s launch post says a new anti-scratch display coating gives more than double the scratch resistance of the previous generation.

OLED means each pixel makes its own light; see OLED explained. LTPO is a panel design that lets the refresh rate change over a wide range, which is how a screen can drop as low as 1 Hz when nothing is moving; see LTPO OLED and the refresh rate guide. The standard Pixel 11 uses a plain OLED panel with a 60 to 120Hz range, which is one of the differences below.

Performance, cameras and battery

The phone uses the Google Tensor G6 with the Titan M3 security coprocessor, 12GB of RAM for 256GB and 16GB for the larger models. The battery is a typical 4850 mAh (minimum 4707 mAh), and Google lists 30+ hours of battery life. The rear cameras are a 50MP wide (f/1.68), a 48MP ultrawide with Macro Focus (f/1.7) and a 48MP 5x telephoto with optical image stabilization (f/2.8), with Pro Zoom up to 120x; the front camera is 42MP. Google lists 8K video at 24 or 30 fps with Video Boost.

Build, durability and software

The phone has a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 front and back and an aluminum frame and is rated IP68. It measures 6 inches tall, 2.8 inches wide and 0.3 inches deep and weighs 7.2 ounces. Google lists 7 years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates, says it launched with Android 17, and supports dual eSIM, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.

How it compares with the Pixel 11 and the Pro XL

Google’s pages let you compare directly. Against the Pixel 11 Pro XL, the Pro has a 6.3-inch screen against 6.8 inches, a 4850 mAh battery against 5115 mAh and a 30W PPS charger claim of 55% in 30 minutes against a 45W claim of 75%. Against the Pixel 11, the Pro adds the LTPO panel (1 to 120 Hz against 60 to 120Hz), a brighter display (3600 against 3000 nits peak), a 48MP ultrawide and 48MP 5x telephoto against a 13MP ultrawide and a 10.8MP 5x telephoto, a 42MP front camera against 10.5MP, and 1TB storage, and costs $1099 against $899.

What is in the box

Google’s What’s in the box list names the phone and a 1 m USB-C to USB-C cable (USB 2.0, 2nd gen). No power adapter is listed, so a 30W PPS charger is a separate purchase.

Security and safety features Google lists

Google’s specification page lists several security and safety features for the Pixel 11 Pro. It lists a Tensor G6 with quantum-safe secure boot in hardware, a Tensor security core, a certified Titan M3 security chip and a Trusted Execution Environment, along with a VPN by Google at no extra cost, anti-malware and anti-phishing protection, and spam and scam protection in Google Phone and Messages. For personal safety it lists Satellite SOS, Emergency SOS, Crisis Alerts, Car Crash Detection, Safety Check, Emergency Location Service and the Android Earthquake Alerts System, plus theft protection. Authentication options are Fingerprint Unlock, Face Unlock and a pattern, PIN or password. These are Google’s descriptions of its own features, and some depend on your region, carrier or subscription.

Repair overview

iFixit has a device page for the Google Pixel 11 Pro, which says it was announced in August 2026. When we checked it listed no repairability score and no repair guides, so we show none. We never copy iFixit’s text.

Who should buy it, and who might skip it

Facts that help you decide:

  • You want a Pro phone that is not huge. It is 6.3 inches, against 6.8 inches on the Pro XL.
  • You want long software support. Google lists 7 years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates.
  • You want Qi2.2 wireless charging. Google lists Pixelsnap up to 25W.
  • You want the faster charging claim. Google lists 75% in 30 minutes for the Pro XL with a 45W charger, against 55% here.
  • You want a charger included. None is in the box; budget for a 30W PPS adapter.
  • You expect the included cable to give the top data speed. The box cable is USB 2.0, so fast data needs a different cable.
