How will we label affiliate links?

Affiliate links will be marked right next to the link with the words “paid link” and a plain statement that we may earn a commission, plus a link back to this page. The FTC says affiliate relationships should be disclosed clearly and conspicuously, that the closer a disclosure is to the recommendation the better, that “affiliate link” by itself may not be understood, and that “paid link” right next to a link should be adequate (FTC guidance).

What does not change when a link earns money?

Commissions do not change what we write. Our editorial policy applies to every page, including pages with affiliate links, such as power banks and chargers.
