The Moto G Power (2026) is the battery-first model in Motorola’s Moto G family and the lowest-priced phone in our Motorola set. This page gathers the facts Motorola publishes on its US product page, explains what they mean for the cable and charger you buy, and points to repair resources. Every figure is traced to a source listed at the bottom of the page. Where Motorola’s page says nothing, or two sources differ, we say so instead of filling the gap.

Where does the Moto G Power (2026) fit?
9to5Google reported on December 16, 2025 that the Moto G Power (2026) would be available from January 8 for $299.99, which it said was $100 more than the base Moto G (2026), at Motorola’s website, Amazon and Best Buy, and through Verizon first, in Evening Blue and Pure Cashmere. GSMArena reported the same US price and said it would reach Cricket, Tracfone, Visible, Total Wireless, Straight Talk, Simple Mobile and AT&T in the coming months. Both attribute these details to Motorola’s announcement, which we could not load directly.
One price note: Motorola’s US product page data lists $399.99 when we checked on 2026-10-05, higher than the reported launch price. We show $299.99 as the launch price and label it as such; check Motorola’s store for today’s price.
Motorola’s phones do not appear in the sales rankings we cite, so the Moto G Power (2026) ranks thirty-sixth in our library as part of Motorola’s current lineup, which Motorola lists on its US smartphones page. See the Motorola hub for the family, including the Moto G Stylus (2026) and the Edge (2026).
What cable does the Moto G Power (2026) use?
The phone has a Type-C port, and Motorola’s specification row reads “Type-C port (USB 2.0)”. USB 2.0 is the slowest of the USB generations, so the port is fine for charging and for moving a few files, but it will not match a USB 3 port; see the USB speed guide. The USB-IF says USB products run at the lowest common speed, so a faster cable will not speed up a USB 2.0 port. Motorola’s components list names a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable. For a spare, read cable buying safety and our USB-C explainer.
What charger does the Moto G Power (2026) need?
Wired. Motorola lists 30W TurboPower charging. That is a maximum rating, and real charging times depend on the charger, the cable and the battery level. The components list names no power adapter, so you must supply one. Motorola does not say on this page which USB charging standards its TurboPower adapters follow, so read the charger’s own specification, and see USB Power Delivery, PPS and the wattage guide.
Wireless. Motorola’s page does not list wireless charging for this phone, so plan on a cable. If you want wireless charging in a Motorola phone, the Edge (2026) and the Moto G Stylus (2026) list 15W. Our wireless charger guide and Qi explainer explain the standards, and for a checklist read which charger is safe for my phone.
The screen, explained
Motorola lists a 6.8-inch LCD at Full HD+ (2388 x 1080, 387ppi) with a 19.9:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate. It lists a High Brightness Mode of up to 1000 nits, Display Color Boost and Water Touch, and a screen-to-body ratio of 0.91. The front glass is Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The reported 6.8-inch LCD is the reason the phone is larger and heavier than the OLED phones in this set.
An LCD uses a backlight, unlike OLED, where each pixel makes its own light; see the LCD guide. For what 120Hz means in use, see the refresh rate guide.
Size, weight and build
Motorola lists dimensions of 166.62 x 77.10 x 8.72 mm and a weight of 208g. The rear is vegan leather (leather-inspired) and the frame is plastic. It lists IP68/IP69 underwater protection and a MIL-STD-810H rating, each with a footnote on its page, so read them before you take the phone near water.
Performance, cameras and battery
The Moto G Power (2026) uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 with a 2.4GHz octa-core CPU and an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It lists 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, which RAM Boost can expand to 24GB in total, 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage with microSD expansion up to 1TB, and Android 16. The battery is 5,200mAh, and Motorola says it lasts up to 2 days.
Motorola lists a 50MP main camera (f/1.8, optical image stabilization), an 8MP ultrawide with Macro Vision (f/2.2, 118-degree field of view) and a 32MP front camera (f/2.2). Rear video goes up to Full HD at 60 frames per second, with no 4K listed. The camera feature list includes Night Vision, Portrait, Pro Mode, Scan and Google Photos editing tools.
Software and connectivity
Motorola lists Android 16, a side fingerprint reader, face unlock, ThinkShield and Moto Secure, NFC, dual SIM with a nano SIM, an eSIM and a microSD card, Google Gemini voice control, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio and a 3.5mm headset jack. Its Wi-Fi row lists 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, which is Wi-Fi 5. We did not find a software update policy on the page, so we do not state one.
Motorola’s page also lists US carrier compatibility. It marks T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T and Google Fi as compatible, and it marks Xfinity Wireless, Ting and Republic Wireless as not compatible. Carrier lists change, so check with your carrier before you buy.
Camera features Motorola lists
Motorola’s specification table lists several camera modes for the Moto G Power (2026): Night Vision Mode, Auto Night Vision, Portrait, Panorama, Pro Mode, Scan, Photo Booth, Shot Optimization, Auto Smile Capture, high-resolution digital zoom up to 8x, RAW photo output, Live Filter, Macro Vision, Ultra-Wide Angle and HDR. It also lists Google Photos editing tools such as Photo Unblur, Reimagine, Auto Frame, Portrait Blur, Portrait Light, Sky, Color Pop and Cinematic Photos. Video features include Dual Capture, Timelapse with Hyperlapse and slow motion. These are Motorola’s descriptions of its own features.
Network bands
Motorola lists 5G sub-6 bands n2, n5, n7, n12, n14, n25, n26, n29, n30, n41, n48, n66, n70, n71, n77 and n78, plus 4G LTE, 3G WCDMA and 2G GSM bands. That 5G list is shorter than the lists for the Edge (2026) and Moto G Stylus (2026), and it omits n1, n3, n13, n20, n28, n38 and n40. Band support decides which carriers give the best coverage, so compare the list with your carrier’s before you buy.
What is in the box
Motorola’s components list names a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable, guides and a SIM tool. No power adapter is listed, so a TurboPower or other USB charger is a separate purchase.
